Goodnight.

A year ago a man stopped into the office where I worked to introduce himself. He said that he'd seen me around. He handed me his card and told me that he'd love to do a sitting. He was a photographer.

I thought about it for a millisecond.
Then dismissed it.

Exactly a year later I ran into him again.
He said "I think we've met before"
I said "Yes, I think we have"
He asked "have you considered do that sitting we talked about"
In a moment of rare honesty I admitted that I hadn't really entertained the idea.

He gave me his card again in case I changed my mind.
I googled his name only to find that he is a relatively famous artist.
I became increasingly curious.

Then logic kicks in, what exactly would I do with a portfolio of pictures of myself?
Look at them? Daily?
I couldn't display them, people would become privy to my narcissism and we couldn't have that.

His work is wonderful though...

It's okay if you're narcissistic. (Blogs are all about self-indulgence anyway.)

About Me

I like run-on sentences and also syntax based loosely on the approved constructs of grammar.
