Come Back Down

I might be forced to see Tristan and Isolde tonight at the movie
theater. It is a love story. I don't do love stories. They make me
laugh and then people look at me funny. I am looking for an excuse not
to go but it is hard to hide from your roommates.

I was called a racist today for working on the birthday of Dr. Martin
Luther King Jr.

I said, "Not to be impolite sir, but I think Dr. King would prefer
that children attend school today so that they can learn why it is we
observe his birthday instead of having them sit at home playing Xbox
Live. He would probably also like it if all of the government
employees went to work and started addressing some of the racial
issues that our country still faces instead of eating cheetos and
watching reruns in their pajamas."

He walked away without a word.

I am experiencing a hormonal imbalance that is making me very
irritable today. I think it is directly related to not getting any for
over a week. Somebody please fix this.

I am moving out of the ghetto. Not until June but I have been on the
waiting list for this place for at least two years, so this is
exciting. There is a two bedroom, two bathroom loft available with
views of downtown and the river. It is mine.

I was two hours late for work today just because I didn't want to get
out of bed. It was warm. I am perpetually cold.

I am thinking about NOT completing my English major. This makes no
sense since I enjoy English courses more than any others and I also
receive the best grades in these courses. And they are the least
challenging. But I don't want a Monday evening class this semester and
I need to class to take that class NOW if I want to graduate in a
timely manner. Do I want to graduate in a timely matter?
