Snatch and Release

Today I took my wonderfully horrible midterm numero uno. So many words and facts and information I didn't know I knew splooged out onto those ridiculous blue book pages. Then at the end not even I could read it. Oh well. That is in the past and we know how I feel about the past, it does not exist.

I wore cowboy boots around campus today and I'm going to act like that is special because everyone looked at me like I was special. Blah to them, at least I was not wearing those ridiculous ugg contraptions, my grandma has slippers that look like those.

Now I am not doing my homework because my brain is in restart mode and doing homework now would be like trying to put a CD in the CD drive when you restart your computer. It just isn't going to happen. Wow, that is quite the analogy, no wonder I am so good at 5th grade level poetry.

Today in one of my new fangled journalism classes we watched a portion of the Wellstone Documentary...which won't mean anything to any of you. He was a DFL Senator from Minnesota, people really liked him, then he died in a plane crash and then Walter Mondale ran in his place but lost to my man Norm Coleman and then the Democrats lost control of the U.S. Senate and blah blah blah. So, yes it's kind of important. Anyway, my only thought was "I'm not a democrat and even I wanted to cry" but I couldn't say that out loud because I would have been beaten senseless after class by raging liberals. So now I said it and I feel better. Thanks.

I bought some fishnets tights today. Now I can wear my new other non-cowboy boot boots with skirts. Super! Wow, I totally had a productive day. I even went to work. That is amazing.
