Coffee becomes dinner when one spends too much money on a trip to
Cancun in January for no apparent reason. This also occurs when
expensive new technological necessities are purchased in close
proximity to the purchasing of said vacation. Which also occurs when
expensive new car is purchased for no apparent reason besides the fact
that the owner is pretentious and high maintenance.

I did buy the Mac, it is gorgeous and wonderful in so many ways and after much debate I bought a Volvo S40 T5 which is practical, safe, and fast enough for my needs.

Yes, it is shiny...though it is not un-earned. I do work full time in a cushy, equally pretentious office.
(I have to keep telling that to myself, otherwise I feel guilty for spending my money on things I don't necessarily need)
But really truly and truly really they reward be graciously because of the amount of bullshit I deal with day-to-day.
