Apparently I made it through THE weekend...yep 48 hours of uninterrupted fun. I'd like to applaud the fact that I made two new best friends this weekend, that's right...TWO. This is good despite my initial plan to find myself a future husband. I soon realized that fraternity houses were not the place to be looking for permanent man material. Also, since it's news to me, finals are rapidly approaching. This means that right about now I should be catching up on the reading I've neglected the previous four or five weeks, but instead I choose to stare out the window and think of mostly random and definitely unimportant things. While everyone is busy being excited for summer I am dreading the last day of class, well with a few exceptions. With the last day of class comes major responsibilities, like my ever so important internship. But alas, there will be no more Monday afternoons listening to astronomy Eddie bable on and on in an attempt to explain the relationship between distance, time, and velocity. I'm not certain how exactly he earned a Ph.D. in astronomy without understanding fundamental theories of physics, let alone why they allow him to teach year after year. I conveniently learned nothing new about physics, astronomy, or life in general despite the fact that dear old Eddie seemed to believe Astronomy 1001 is not only the most important class you'll EVER take, but that it also provides integral life skills.
I can only imagine that while sitting in my comfortable leather executive chair with a very important client that I will find it necessary to comment on the elongation of the moon or the very important and relevant fact that the universe is indeed expanding. But you know, if you ever wanted to know either of those two things you could always ask me. The culmination of this semester also means that I only have two additional semesters left, which I will not complain about. It also means that I will no longer be forced to tolerate my skank-ho roommates obnoxious habits. So pretty much with the disappearance of astronomy Eddie and skank-ho roommate I won't be far from being the happiest person on Earth.
