Have I ever told you that I love older men. No, not because I have
daddy issues but because they tell you things like "you should be a
super model" and they totally mean it (maybe). And even though yes it
is creepy that forty-eight year old men say things like that to
twenty-one year old girls it is kind of nice because the most you ever
get out of twenty-one year old boys is "I want to fuck you" and they
usually don't even say that to your face, they say it to their friends
who tell your friends who tell you and then you are like "really, can
I?!?!?!" all fake and sarcastic. So yes, they all wish to achieve the
same end but I'm just saying that one way might be more tactful.

This dude that I used to see last fall, the one which I thought I had
perfected my ignore them and they will eventually leave you alone
tactic on, called me out of nowhere. A few months ago a mutual friend
of ours said something about him still being interested, which is
really funny because I was a complete and total bitch to him during
our "relationship" and after it too. I of course did not answer and I
of course do not wish to return the call but I kind of do but I
shouldn't because I don't even like him.

It is however spring which means all sorts of ex-boyfriends will begin
to reappear in my life and buy me fancy dinners and take me to lovely
plays and hold my hand and confess their love and I will have to tell
them that they are silly boys controlled by hormonal impulses and that
no, they do not wish to marry me they wish only to reproduce and that
sorry, I am not interested in that at this time.

My roommate is out looking for places for us to live next year since
we decided that we would kind of enjoy living in a house near the
lakes as opposed to an apartment nearer to campus. This means one
thing though, a serious reduction in shopping activity to compensate
for the abhorrent rental rates of living space in the area in which we
are interested. That's okay, I haven't been shopping in at least three
weeks. That is pretty impressive thank you very much.
