I have hilarious bling-bling in my ears right now because I cannot
find my normal sized diamond studs and it is slightly embarrassing and
I am so paranoid that my ear holes will close up and I will be forced
to reintroduce them to their friend, the needle. I am not THAT into
S&M so I will wear these monstrosities that I found in one of those
intuitive cubby holes Volvo hides in your car that were there probably
because I wore them out on the town when I used to leave my house for
social functions. Gosh, I love run on sentences.

My father had the audacity to ask me if they were real. Yes father, I
can totally afford 8 c.t.w. diamond studs. I am a hip-hop mogul, how
little you do know. Oh and they are from Tiffany and Co.

In reality, my money has disappeared and I could never justify the
purchase of jewelry for myself. That is the job for the boys. Yes, I
am sexist and also probably a prostitute if not an indentured servant.
I will cook and clean and vacuum and iron even in an apron if you buy
the pearls. Lucky you.

I will now finish up some things at work and then I will go buy
useless text books full of useless information that I will probably
never read. I will spend $650 and I will be very sad because I could
buy a lot of other things like clothes and possibly shoes and now I
know why only 25% of Americans hold college degrees and it is not
because they are stupid but because the opportunity cost for earning
an education is highly skewed towards to long term. And we are
Americans, we like immediate results which bear fruit in the form of
tangible things like some Christian Louboutin pumps.
