Falling In Love on a Train

I have a new found love for candles apparently. I cannot stop buying them.

I went shopping today. I bought two pairs of jeans. When did jeans become so damned expensive? I guess I haven't bought a pair since high school. I usually just steal some from my youngest sister periodically. She hasn't noticed yet. I remember how buying jeans used to be quite the ordeal, traumatic almost. I'm pretty certain I used to try on every pair in the store five times before deciding that I didn't like any of them. Today I just took the first two that the annoying sales girl handed to me. One pair might require some strategic maneuvering to overcome the obstacle that is my ass but that is fine.

Yea so I broke the "will not shop for one months time" promise. Shut up. I found a hot pink corduroy mini skirt for $12.99, did someone actually expect me not to buy it? I didn't think so. And also The Gap had little ballet flats for $4.99. Of course I need another pair of black shoes and some turquoise ones too. This is now a shopping journal, didn't you know?

I have to go pick out an outfit to wear tomorrow which will be quite an ordeal.

P.S. I thought I remembered John Mayer saying that the John Mayer Trio had a different sound. It is a little more edgy, but certainly not a major departure from his previous repetoire. I like it anyhow but still.

That is the best description of shopping ever!
I got these great deals on some shirts in New York. Only cost me $8 -- but they look like I paid $11.

Jealous! My $12.99 skirt makes me look like at least $50, which will be good for my business on the corner!!
