The Sky is Falling

Tonight I had the great fortune of seeing a meteor streak across the sky above me. I imagined that meteor dust scattered about me, pretending to inhale little pieces of life past and present. That is what the universe is, a strange suspension between pasts, presents, futures and in betweens our human minds cannot fathom. You would think that this should have been a sign of some persuasion, one that should have occurred at a time more poignant and one that had more to do with grand scale revelation rather than a simple drive home from the movie theater. It was as if a piece of life floated above, infinitely kept from our grasp. The green streak lit the already brilliant city sky. The flash danced among the sky scrapers, it mingled with the beckoning search lights and faded into the dark side of the city. It was there and it was gone.

I like it when little things have a lot of significance.

I am reminded of a Smashing Pumpkins song with the following lyrics:

Her eyes were as vacant as the sea.

This line is antithetically describes yours.

About Me

I like run-on sentences and also syntax based loosely on the approved constructs of grammar.
