Halloween is for lovers

You know what is great?
No matter where I go I manage to meet the most obscure, interesting, and sometimes disturbing people.

In the course of last evening I was able to prove to my friends that "normal" men do not talk to me, even when I am dressed up in a ridiculous costume.

Take for example, the forty year old man who followed me around for most of the evening demanding that I tell him what is costume was.

Each time, I would say "A man in black" and he would reply "Yes, but no". After a few of such exchanges he proceeded to confide in me his hatred for those who do not know themselves, proclaiming that he "definitely is in touch with his deep down self" and he could tell that I was to. Random.

Then there was the man that walked up to my friends and I and asked if we wanted to come over to his house see his 5 minute horror movie. If I hadn't been quite so intoxicated I might have been worried about going into some strange man's house and watching a horror movie that upon reflection in the morning was decided to have been entirely too gruesome and disturbing for the span of 5 minutes. I think that might have been the highlight of the evening.

Then I met an aspiring playwright. Leave it to me to have a discussion about local theater and early American literature at a Halloween party. I am just THAT lame. We did have a conversation in Spanish which made things soooo much cooler. I think he might have my phone number. I think we might have made plans to go out on Tuesday. That will be an interesting phone call for certain, I will keep you updated.
